
Tracy FC Revolution U12 Girls capture Rouge Valley Cup Championship!
Tracy FC Revolution U12 Girls traveled to Medford Oregon over the Memorial
Day weekend to participate in a US Club sanctioned event, the Rouge Valley
Cup. Tracy FC’s first game with the RVSC Storm from Medford Oregon
ended with a 2-1 win. Two goals by Dani Rodrigues were all the Tracy
FC Revolution needed for the opening win. Tracy FC’s second game
with The Eliminators from Gardnerville Nevada ended in a tie 0-0. Tracy
FC’s third game vs. United from Reno Nevada ended with a Revolution
win 3-1. Goals by Kourtney Reed, Courtney Allen and Dani Rodrigues pushed
the Revolution closer to the title game. The final game of the group
stage pitted Tracy FC against the Timbers of Vancouver, Washington. Tracy
FC came out on top 3-0, winning their group and earning a spot in the
championship game. Goals were made by Brandi Gualco, Aubrey Boehm and
Courtney Allen to end group stage play. In the Championship final Tracy
FC Revolution cruised to victory with a 3-0 win against the RVSC Tigers
from Medford Oregon. Goals were made by Lauren Frizzi, Brandi Gualco
and Katie Little. Coach Mike Rodrigues and Rudy Ochoa noted that the
key to Tracy FC Revolution’s success was outstanding defensive
play from Shelby Devlin, Stephanie Villalobos, Ana Mansilla, Melissa
Frizzi, Haley Ochoa, and errorless goal keeping by Amanda Simonich allowing
only two goals over the five game tournament.
