Tracy United Competitive Soccer will be hosting a training clinic taught
by Vladimir Nieto. The clinic will be for coaches in TUCSC and will utilize
three Class 1 teams from TUCSC (U13G Tracy United 95, U17B Tracy United
91 and U15B Tracy Chivas).

Vladimir is a graduate of Long Island University in New York, with a Master
Degree of Science in Education. He has participated in advanced soccer
symposiums and training sessions in Brazil, Holland, England, Germany,
Sweden, Belgium, Russia, Australia, Mexico and in the United States. In
addition, he was part of the Colombian coaching staff as technical coordinator
during the 1994 World Cup.
In 1999 Coach Nieto was invited to participate in a six month full time
resident coaching program with F.C. Barcelona in Spain under the direct
supervision of Ronald Kooman (former captain of the Dutch national team).
He has also been a guest coach at the Ajax Training Center in Amsterdam
Holland and Mollembeck training center in Brussels, Belgium.
In 1993 coach Nieto was selected to the coaching staff for the United
States in the World Athletes Scholar International Games in Rhode Island
where he served as a soccer technical consultant and clinician.
For the past 10 years he has been a guest coach for the Hawaii Pacific
University Soccer Program as well as the director of coaching and player
development for the International Center for Soccer Research and Player
Development (cedifusa).
Coach Nieto brings a wealth of national and international experience as
he has coached and taken youth teams to Latin America, Europe, Russia,
Australia, Asia and the United States.
The sessions will be held at Wicklund Elementary School in Mt House. Address
is 300 Legacy Dr. in Mountain House. The schedule is as follows:
